Final Action
BACKGROUND:
The BSAI Crab Plan Team met May 2-5, 2017 to review the final assessments and harvest specifications for three crab stocks and to discuss model scenarios for the Fall 2017 SAFE report and other items of interest. The Crab Plan Team report, introductory summaries for the three stocks (Aleutian Island Golden King Crab, Pribilof Island golden king crab and Western Aleutian Island red king crab) are attached. A link to all documents reviewed by the CPT at this meeting as well as final assessments for those crab stocks is provided.
